Day One

The "to do" lists are checked off and off we go!
We got a pretty good start today at 7:45. The car is packed, but we can still see out the back safely 😊
We had lunch in mojave at Mike's Roadhouse Cafe (AAA recommendation). Fifty's music, great collection of pedal cars and good food.
Long straight streaches of desert road, but the croppings of hills make it ok. Lots and lots of trucks!!
Who are these people who choose to live in the desert??? Why???

Trip tik shows a distance of 537 miles. 4:00 and only 90 miles to go to reach Kingman,AZ. First time I was there was in 1995 when we drove to see Ramey in Up With People. I was here two weeks ago with Chris to see Dad's properties and the subdivisipn he put in - and now again! Life is funny that way.
Will take Randy back to the Redneck BBQ we discovered while there. Can't wait 🍺
Somehow it's all about the food.
Ended up with take out from Rednecks. Still good!
